The pointed rock at bottom centre is a famous landmark called Pinnacle Rock, it is the remains of a Tuff Cone, a kind of volcanic feature formed when there is water present during a volcanic eruption. Tuff is a form of compacted volcanic ash, loose when initially deposited, but bonded together by water and by the weight of the ash itself,
